- The MRCP PACES course
This course has been running since 1992 and is one of the leading courses in the country. Candidates have the opportunity to see over 100 system examinations (short cases), as well as receive advice on examination technique and skills for the exam.

The course is structured along the lines of the current adult MRCP PACES examination. Courses are held at weekends, starting at 8.30 am on Saturday, and 9.15 am on the Sunday, ending at 5.30 pm on both days. Each day comprises seven sessions each lasting one hour, with candidates rotating through all seven sessions during the day. Candidates are taught in groups of six for exam stations 1, 3 and 5, and in groups of three for exam stations 2 and 4.

The course fee includes VAT at the current rate.

- Candidates' comments
"As a GP trying to pass my PACES, I had little in the way of supported teaching at my local hospital. Your course clearly and consistently showed me how to approach each station. The clinicians teaching were encouraging, patient and tolerant and provided suggestion and support in an entirely constructive fashion." Dr Michael Partridge

"As an overseas candidate taking the PACES in the UK, it was helpful to learn the different clinical manifestations of illnesses in the UK population. Also, the style of patient interaction and medical management is quite different from my home country, and that is definitely helpful in my exam preparations." Dr Leyland Chuang

"It was absolutely amazing, and is single handedly responsible for me passing paces first time. Neurology teaching was especially good, and the variety of cases and quality of teachers in general. I felt like I had got my money's worth after the first hour! I can't praise Ealing paces enough and am recommending it to all my colleagues who are preparing for paces." Dr Dominique McKenny-Fick

"The teaching and cases were excellent. The consultant neurologist teaching and techniques were superb. I scored 20/20 in neurology station and the credit goes to Ealing course." Dr Abdul Naseer Khan

"Excellent opportunity to see numerous patients with brilliant signs for PACES exam with an expert tutor on hand to take us through the important points - I thought the organisation was great allowing maximum exposure to a multitude of material in a relatively short space of time, incredibly efficient and effective. All candidates had a chance to be questioned or participate in the communication and ethics role plays which was really good." Dr Angela Dawson
