WHAT TIME DOES THE COURSE START?
Registration is between 7:45 and 8:15. Coffee, Tea and a small continental breakfast will be made available. You will have a lecture at 8:30am by Professor Karim Meeran. Details of your timetable should have been emailed to you. Please call 02033300031 or email candidate liaison at paces@ealingpaces.com if you have not yet received this information.

WHERE DO I HAVE TO GO?
The courses are held at:

Ealing Hospital
Uxbridge Road
Southall
Middlesex
UB1 3HW

Once you arrive at the hospital, please follow our internal signs to Candidate Registration or hospital signs to the ‘Post Graduate Lecture theatre’.

By public transport
Tube and rail links
Bus routes 83, 207, 427, 607 and N207 all link the hospital to the Ealing Broadway station for connections with Central line, District line and National Rail services.
Central, District or mainline from Paddington to Ealing Broadway then the 607 (express), 207 or 83 bus direct to Ealing Hospital.
Central Line to Greenford, then 92 bus to Ealing Hospital.
Piccadilly line to Boston Manor, then E8 bus to the top of Lower Boston Road.
Hanwell Station (National Rail) is located in Church Road, approximately 1 mile from the hospital.

Buses
Bus routes 83, 92 and 282 all enter the grounds of Ealing Hospital. Also, bus routes 195, 207, 427, 607 and N207 all stop a short walk away from the hospital on Uxbridge Road.

By Car
Travel from central London
A40 Westway until sign to Greenford (A4127). Turn left down Greenford Road to Uxbridge Road.
Access from the M25 travelling from the north
Exit 16 to M40/A40 Western Avenue – drive towards London. Take the Greenford exit (A4127). Turn right at roundabout and travel down Greenford Road, then turn left onto Uxbridge Road.

Travelling from the south
•Exit 15 to M4 – drive towards London
•At exit 3 take the A312 Hayes by-pass travelling north, follow signs to Southall / Ealing A4020 Uxbridge Road. Continue on this road through Southall to the hospital.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR/BIKE?
If you are travelling by car or bike, on arrival, when approaching the roundabout, please take the sharp first exit on your left which should be clearly signposted as the MRCP Ealing PACES car park. Please follow the road down, and you are welcome to park anywhere for free in that bay. If there are no spaces, please follow the additional signs down the road and take the ramp up directly left. There are bike bays also available.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please bring a pen (if you forget, there are pens available for you to pick up at registration) and a stethoscope as well as anything else you think you’ll need when examining patients.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Please wear your everyday clothes for outpatients.
WHAT IS MY TIMETABLE?
Your timetable should have been emailed to you with details of how the weekend will run. Please email candidate liaison at paces@ealingpaces.com or call 02033300031 if you have not received this within one hour of booking your place.
WHAT ARE THE LUNCH ARRANGEMENTS?
Lunch will be provided on both days with a variety for vegetarians. Please ensure we have your dietary requirements including any other information regarding your health that we may need to know.  Complimentary tea, coffee, refreshments, biscuits and fruit will be available throughout the day.
WHAT CAN I READ TO PREPARE?
You should have received a pdf copy of our course guide. Please email paces@ealingpaces.com or call 02033300031 if you have not received this.
I’M DISABLED – WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The hospital has lifts in all of the common areas, with direct access to where the training takes place. There is also disabled parking available, please call us on 02033300031 or email paces@ealingpaces.com prior to your arrival so we can make sure you are well accommodated.
WILL THERE BE WIFI?

There is NHS free WiFi on site.

WHAT IS THE REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations must be received in writing. If you cancel more than 10 days before your course, the cancellation fee is £50. If you give us less than 10-days notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £200 for PACES courses. Refunds are made after the course.
